(Chester, CA) — Seneca Healthcare District (SHD) is proud to announce that this year’s parade float earned Second Place in Chester’s annual Fourth of July Parade, celebrating America’s spirit, community, and the nation’s 250th birthday!

Embracing the parade theme, “Waves of Freedom,” the Seneca team transformed a unique double-decker pontoon boat into a stunning patriotic display. Decorated from bow to stern in vibrant red, white, and blue, the float captured the excitement of Independence Day while honoring the enduring values that unite communities across America.

The Fourth of July Parade was an amazing display of community spirit, connection, and hometown pride. Residents and visitors lined the streets, waving flags, cheering on participants, and celebrating together in a tradition that continues to bring people of all ages together.

“We are honored to receive second place and grateful for the enthusiastic support from our community,” said Seneca Healthcare District representatives. “Events like the Fourth of July Parade remind us of the loving, enduring community we are privileged to serve. Seeing neighbors, families, and friends come together to celebrate is what makes this event so special.”

Seneca Healthcare District would like to extend a special thank you to Brandon and Amie for generously allowing us to use their beautiful double-decker pontoon boat, which served as the centerpiece of our award-winning float. Their support helped bring our vision to life and created a memorable experience for everyone who attended.

We would also like to thank All Phase Landscape for joining us in the parade and helping make the celebration even more exciting for spectators. The community especially loved the water feature, which added an extra splash of fun and perfectly complemented this year’s “Waves of Freedom” theme.

Seneca Healthcare District extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended the parade, cheered on participants, and helped make the celebration such a memorable success. We’re especially grateful to our incredible volunteers who rode on the float and walked alongside us, sharing smiles, candy, and community spirit every step of the way.

As the District reflects on these celebrations, we are honored to celebrate alongside the community and look forward to many more opportunities to connect, serve, and celebrate together.

Thank you for helping make this year’s Fourth of July Parade a tremendous success—and for cheering us on as we rode the ‘waves of freedom!’ 🌊🚤
