(Chester, CA) – After over 38 dedicated years of service to patients, families, and colleagues, Seneca Healthcare District (SHD) proudly celebrates the retirement of Dr. Dana Ware, honoring her remarkable career and lasting impact on our community.
Dr. Ware’s retirement from Family Practice will take effect on December 31, marking her final day as a Family Practice Provider with Seneca. Her career has been defined by compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to quality care. Throughout her tenure, Dr. Ware was more than a trusted healthcare professional, she was a mentor, an advocate, and a steady presence for both patients and colleagues. Her leadership helped shape programs, strengthen services, and foster a culture of care that will continue to define the District for years to come.

While Dr. Ware is retiring from Family Practice, don’t be surprised if you see her around the hospital or clinic from time to time; she may lend a helping hand when needed. Seneca Healthcare District is excited for Dr. Ware as she steps into this next chapter. She has more than earned this time, and we know her future ventures—whatever they may be—will be approached with the same passion and heart she brought to her work here.
