FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(CHESTER, CA) September 18th, 2025

Seneca Healthcare District is proud to announce the offering of another Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program beginning in early 2026. We have hosted these programs in the past and found great success, and we’re excited to continue providing this valuable opportunity to our community.

This 13-week program, held two days per week, offers a hands-on, supportive pathway into the healthcare field, ideal for those looking to start a rewarding career in patient care. Participants will benefit from expert instruction, clinical simulations, and preparation for the California CNA Certification Exam.

This program is not only a great opportunity for individuals seeking to enter the medical field, but also a strategic investment in our community’s healthcare workforce. With a current need for additional CNAs across our facilities, this initiative will help us train and prepare staff members to meet both present and future demands.

Looking ahead, Seneca Healthcare District is preparing for the opening of the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital, expected to be completed in early 2027. The CNA program plays a vital role in building a strong foundation of trained professionals who will be ready to serve in this state-of-the-art facility.

“We are training and preparing now, as we will be needing additional staff in our new facility,” said Judy Cline, Chief Nursing Officer at Seneca Healthcare District. “This program is a key part of our long-term staffing strategy and our commitment to providing high-quality care to the Lake Almanor Basin.”
