Plumas Health Education Spring Institute at Seneca Healthcare District
Local high school students work through 9 weeks of rotations at Seneca Healthcare designed to provide students with a better understanding of the different career options available in the healthcare setting.
Each student will rotate through different departments at the hospital and clinic to experience various aspects of the medical field, such as nursing, including ER, Acute Care, SNF, Surgery, Walk-In Clinic, and Family Practice.
The Nursing rotation highlights several nursing roles common in the hospital and clinic setting including ER, Acute Care, SNF, Surgery, Walk-In Clinic, and Family Practice. (CNA, LVN & RN)
