Build Progress:
Exciting progress continues on the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital! Crews have begun interior work, including framing rooms and laying tracks for walls and doors, giving shape to each department’s future layout. Windows and exterior doors are expected to be installed in the next couple of weeks, which will help seal the building and fully weatherproof it for the winter season. Stay tuned for updates on the interior!
Philanthropic Efforts:
Buy a Beam Campaign Surpasses $13,000 — Extended Through November
The Buy a Beam campaign has raised over $13,000 as of October 24, with strong community support continuing to grow. This initiative offers an affordable way for individuals to leave a lasting mark on the new hospital.
Supporters receive a guided tour of the construction site to sign their sponsored beam, along with a personalized map and photos. A master plan of all beam locations will be displayed inside the hospital near the donor wall upon completion.
With continued interest and more supporters joining, the campaign is now extended through November. For details or to participate, contact the campaign team or visit our website.

Next Steps:
With the exterior nearly complete, crews are now moving inside. Work will begin in the acute care area, progressing counterclockwise through the facility. Interior walls will go up, followed by installation of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Multiple crews will be working throughout the winter months as the project advances toward interior finishes.
