March New Build Update

Spring is here! Construction on the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital is set to resume in the first week of April. This planned pause was due to heavy winter weather and snow predictions. Last year, all necessary underground work, including water and electrical systems, was completed. Next, footings and foundation work will commence, followed by the erection of the steel structure and shelling of the building by the end of this year. Selected finishings such as signage, the donor recognition wall, and artwork are being coordinated as the structure is completed, in anticipation of the grand opening in 2027.

Tickets for Seneca Healthcare Foundation’s First Annual Golf Tournament, set for Friday, May 30, 2025, at Bailey Creek Golf Course in Lake Almanor, CA are available now!

Construction Progress: Resumes April 1st, 2025.

The steel beams that will be used in the structure of the new hospital are currently being manufactured and will be delivered to the build site in the coming months. See our “Buy a Beam” event details for a unique opportunity to be a part of the new build!
