But more than just a building, this hospital represents a lasting investment in the health and well-being of our families, friends, and neighbors—for generations to come. October 2025 New Build Update 

Construction on the new hospital is progressing steadily, with crews currently wrapping the building and focusing on completing the exterior. This critical phase will help protect the structure from the elements and allow work to transition indoors as winter (snow!) approaches. Alongside this, significant progress is being made on the roof, which includes both a flat roof with a multilayered roofing system and a sloped roof that will feature composition roofing.

Philanthropy plays a vital and transformative role in healthcare, bridging the gap between what is and what could be. Beyond funding bricks and mortar, it fuels innovation, expands access, and ensures that care is compassionate, equitable, and forward-thinking. At its heart, philanthropy is an expression of shared values—a powerful reminder that healthcare is not just a system, but a community of people caring for one another.
 

Seneca Healthcare Foundation was formed in 2024, out of the need for allowing supporters to directly donate to healthcare in our region. Combining previous efforts and donations with new ones since the Foundation’s formation, we logged 343 supporters in the year 2024. We cannot wait to see how this number grows this year, and thank you for being part of it!  

Together, we’re building a healthier future—right here at home.
