June 2026 New Build Update

Construction continues to advance at a strong pace, with significant progress visible throughout both the interior and exterior of the building.

On the exterior, roadway development is underway, and the helicopter landing area is beginning to take form. The outlines of parking lots, landscape areas, and other key campus features are now becoming visible, offering a clearer picture of what the completed campus will look like. Significant progress has also been made on exterior siding, while essential HVAC and electrical systems continue to be installed throughout the facility. Overall, the project is progressing on multiple fronts, with visible developments inside and out bringing the new hospital closer to completion each day.

2026 Golf Tournament

The Seneca Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament held on Friday, May 29th at Bailey Creek Golf Course was an exciting and fun-filled success, bringing the community together in support of fundraising efforts for the new hospital. The course was full of energy and surprises, including a standout moment at hole 8 where Shawn McKenzie served as the “hole heckler,” entertaining players with jokes and playful banter that quickly became a crowd favorite! At hole 15, participants enjoyed a lively “Ma.s.h.” tent featuring themed drinks, adding to the festive atmosphere. With great participation and engaging activities throughout, the tournament successfully raised funds while creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

See Your Money at Work Events are back!

As work continues through the summer, Seneca Healthcare District will host two “See Your Money at Work” community events, inviting the public to tour the new hospital site and see the progress firsthand. These events will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the project, view ongoing construction milestones, and see how local support is helping bring the new hospital to life.
