To the Exceptional Staff at Seneca Healthcare District,
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for the incredible care you gave to Sandy’s mom, Nancie, during her time in your long-term care facility.
Every single one of you showed such kindness, patience, and professionalism, but what stood out was how much heart you put into everything you did. When Nancie came back from Enloe and wasn’t communicating, you didn’t just do your jobs—you showed up for her in the most compassionate way. You sat with her, spoke to her softly even when she couldn’t respond, and made sure she was never alone. That kind of care is something truly special, and it meant the world to all of us.
I especially want to recognize Marty, Mary, Jovy, Courtney, Tessa, Deanna, Debi, Noah and Stacey. Marty’s calm and steady presence brought so much comfort. Mary’s gentle touch and attention to the little things made every moment feel personal. Jovy had a way of bringing light into the room—even on the tough days—and Courtney’s kindness and professionalism were a constant source of support.
You didn’t just care for Nancie—you cared about her. And that made all the difference. Thank you for treating her with such dignity and for supporting her family with so much empathy and grace. You reminded us of what true, heartfelt healthcare looks like.
With deep appreciation,
Deborah
