February 2026 New Build Update

With all steel erected and the tracks defining rooms, departments, and functional areas now in place, the project will move into the next phase of interior construction. This includes installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, followed by insulation and drywall. As these systems are completed, the focus will shift to finishes such as ceilings, flooring, doors, and fixtures, bringing the interior spaces closer to final form. Stay tuned for more ways to get involved and see the progress first-hand in this historic project!

The Foundation is offering a multitude of opportunities to name or sponsor items within the new hospital! Donors may choose to place their name—or honor a loved one in memoriam—on items such as artwork, bulletin boards, and other visible features that support the patient and family experience. We are currently developing a lookbook that will highlight these opportunities in detail, allowing donors to thoughtfully curate their giving by selecting the items that resonate most with them or their families.
